T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 Review (Video)

Submitted by Dave Won. on

The Nokia Lumia 710 was an absolute pleasure to use. After just 5 minutes of using it I was pleasantly surprised how well it responded to the touch screen and the speed at which applications loaded. This phone is priced at $300 currently and costs way too much for what it is. $200 tops would be my suggestion. I have never been a huge fan of Windows but this phone certainly is a mind changer. Anyway enjoy the review by the beautiful Jing.

Are iPhone Owners Retarded?

Submitted by Dave Won on

What is it about these neat little iPhone devices that are outdated technology when they hit the stores, that makes people pitch tents in anticipation of getting one?

It might not make sense to people that actually understand technology as to why people can’t resist the iPhone.  To put it in simple terms, it’s just hype, and you have got to give it to Jobs rotting corpse he really did leave a legacy in physiological marketing tactics.

Android Fragmentation And Tech Tabloid

Submitted by Dave Won. on

There has been a lot of complaining and moaning by people in the mobile industry trying to create news stories about Android Fragmentation. What Android Fragmentation is referring to is the growing list of Android distributions by different manufacturers. This apparently has tabloid tech news reporters on the CBS range of sites worried, but no one else seems to give a crap.

In the last four years, we have seen Blackberry go from one of the leaders in Smartphone communications to almost the Atari of Smartphones. RIM last quarter reported a $518 million quarterly loss, so things are not looking good.

The MeeGo Operating System (Linux based) that was installed on the powerful Nokia N9 has been given a new lease of life after ex-Nokia employees decided to join forces and bring MeeGo back into the market. MeeGo was dropped by Nokia this year in favor of Microsoft’s lame Windows Mobile operating system; this mistake by Nokia made many Nokia fans angry and customers who purchased the N9 smartphones were left speechless.

Android and the battle with Malware

Submitted by Dave Won. on

During the last year, the Android OS has been plagued with Malware, almost gaining a reputation that Microsoft gained with Windows OS on desktop computers during the last few decades. So why is Android being attacked with Malware? This is a good question given that it is based on Linux OS an Operating System that has always been known for not needing anti-malware/Antivirus software.
