These domain registration scams have been around for a long time now, some even come in the physical mail. The scammers try everything they can to make the registration sound like it is a legitimate request/service.
Today finding device drivers for older computer hardware can be somewhat of a painful task especially if you are using a search engine to find them.
Now in to April 2019 you would think that this kind of scam email would be a thing of the past being how obvious that it is a scam. However there must be a few souls out there that are still falling for this Sextortion Scam that started a few years ago.
