The average American probably has used prepaid before and may for some reason have changed over to a plan setup because of some bad experiences in service in the past and never taken the plunge back into the prepaid market that can save you some serious dollars.
 

Will Microsoft kill Nokia? Hell yes.

The pending take over of Nokia by Microsoft has been boosting share prices for the embattled company, but what will the long term effects be? For myself the whole idea is just one big joke, Microsoft hasn't proven that it can create or write any software that isn't plagued with bugs so how is a take over from Microsoft ever going to help the once powerful Nokia corporation.

How many people today have never owned or used a cell phone? The answer to this question is not hard to guess. The chances of somebody having not used a cell phone these days is most as rare as a US one dollar coin.

Why are prepaid cell phones such a hit? The reason these low priced phone service phones are such a hit is because people just cant afford to be waisting massive amounts of money of these expensive plan that are shoved down our throats that are pitched at the best value, when most of us know now that this is a giant heap of nonsense to put it lightly.

So what can you do to escape the current spate of evil phone providers that want us to purchase their crappy products.

Today the need to comply with technology has become more than an essential, there has got to be some sort of cross over point when we will see the complete closure of the physical bank buildings and other services that have been push in to our homes via Internet & card service connectivity.

Straight Talk  Security Warning!!!

It has come to the attention of many users of the Straight Talk phone service that during the last 3 months, the people that are working at the call center in the  Philippines is changing phone numbers and giving out customers personal information to anybody who rings their 1800 customer help line.

This includes changing email addresses associated with peoples account allowing a bogus email accounts to be put in on request, there for getting the password on a persons account sent to this address.

My Straight Talk customer service experience

Ok I had some trouble today with my Straight Talk phone and I wanted to write an article purly on the customer service.

This morning I found that my Straight Talk phone had become deactivated for reasons unknown at the time, I logged in to the Straight Talk website to find out what had happened to my phone, and basically I was told that someone I had a ticket already open, which was news to me....

AT&T is going to buy T-Mobile

AT&T has announced that it has struck a deal to purchase T-Mobile USA, this will make AT&T the largest cell mobile phone provider in the United states. The deal came at a cool cost of $39 Billion and the take over is expected to take around 12 Months to complete once US regulators have approved the deal.

Sony Ericsson Playstation Smart Phone

Today the latest device has been revealed from Sony Ericsson, the new Playstation Smart Phone. The phone is slated to be launched in March.

When we first heard about this idea last year the Nokia N-Gage came to mind and how at the time it was a real kick butt phone that unfortunately never lasted.

Nokia and Microsoft have announced a partnership, only days after an internal memo was leaked revealing a weak venerable Nokia at the brink of collapse. So what does this mean? Well it means at some point we will see Windows on our Nokia phones and devices, spelling an end to the long lived Symbian OS.
