Now this is a cool phone to look at. The Kyocera Sanyo Innuendo has an exciting glow thru dial pad with OLED screen that illuminates when used and disappears when not in use. I think that this whole phone is based on this fun feature because once the phone is flipped open the phone itself it is basic and awful to use. The outdated OS on the phone shows it's age as soon as it appears after opening the phone up. The OS is remnant of some of those prepaid phones that cost like $10, it feels like so much effort was put into the screen on the front of the phone that they forgot to put a descent looking and functional OS on it. This phone could do with Android or something, it's the only thing that could spice it up. | |
The phone has a reasonable 3.2 MP camera built in and has all the features you expect on a cheap phone. The thing is this phone isn't cheap to purchase outright and getting it on a plan seems just stupid. The main display is awkward and needs to be bigger 2.8” at 400 x 240 pixels. The phone comes with a 1GB microSD card which is a slap in the face when the phone itself is priced at $249ex. I think more than anything for some this phone will be just to show off the pretty front screen, but nothing else. Before I write this one off, I will say if this all you are looking for a phone just like this and have some dollars to burn then this phone will suit you just fine. Another good point is this phone has very good battery life, this may be due to the fact that you won't use it much. Oh and when you close the phone it shows a nice little bird flying across the front screen. |
