Cricket Huawei Pillar Review

Submitted by Dave Won. on

The new Huawei Pillar from Cricket is not a bad little phone for $29. The phone is really designed for someone who does a lot of texting because even though the phone kind of looks likes a semi smart phone… it is not. The screen is small at only 2’ diagonal and has a VGA Camera. The Pillar is a nice-looking  phone despite its obvious cheap construction.  If I was to compare this phone to another phone, we have reviewed. I guess the LG500G is getting close… but this phone is far from the quality LG500G.

This phone uses the Paygo Nationwide Talk, Text & Web plan from Cricket. So you can either go the $25/mo for 300mins, unlimited text, unlimited web or $35/mo for 1000mins, unlimited text, and unlimited web.

This phone is not 3G, so getting the most out of unlimited web data is going to be a bit hard.

A good phone for texting, or even a quick basic email.
