More Android based phones are on the way from Straight Talk Prepaid, which is exciting news for Straight Talk fans. It seems that Straight Talk just keep pushing and pushing the envelope when it comes to prepaid smart phones. In the third quarter we got the LG Optimus Q and Samsung Galaxy Precedent. Soon the company will have under its belt the LG Optimus Black and the LG Optimus 2X for sale of Straight Talk and Net10's website.

The big question is will this phone be on the AT&T network or T-Mobile? the answer is T-Mobile...

2012 will be a great year for prepaid. We’re excited!

I sent an email to straight talk asking them what network the LG Optimus 2x will operate on. I received and email telling me that it will be on the sprint network. This is a big disappointment. Sprints coverage area is to small. Straight talk needs to get an andoid phone on a different network.

Phone is confirmed for T-Mobile, not AT&T or Sprint as originally thought.

So this phone wont work on the straight talk network?

Comment:

There is no "straight talk network" the network you are going to be on is determined by the model of the phone. If it's a cdma-s or cdma phone sprint or verizon are likely to be the carrier just as GSM phones are using TMoblie or AT&T
