Republic Wireless Reviews

Submitted by Dave Won on

Republic wireless is a prepaid provider that has some pretty cool phones on offer. Unlike other providers that use cellular towers and data for communications, Republic uses WiFi where available for Internet and makes use of VoIP software for making calls. The phones still have a basic access to Sprint’s network as a fail over measure, so as you can imagine the phones primarily work better in large metropolitan areas where open WiFi networks are numerous.

Straight Talk Huawei Ascend II Review

It has got the Android operating system on it, and it is quite easy to use like any of the other Android phones. I can’t actually see anything that I would actually fault with this phone it seems to operate really well. Everything seems to respond really quickly. The touch screen is really responsive. I can’t really find much to complain about in the time I have been using this since we unboxed it. This phone does use the Sprint network so check your coverage maps for Sprint to find out if it is going to be suitable in the area where you live. Straight Talk Huawei Ascend II Review

A phone service called Prepayd is out.

The latest prepaid MVNO company to join the competition is called ‘PrePayd’ the name being a spin on the misspelling of prepaid. The range of phones at ATM is very limited, but they have only just started so anything could happen from here. Prepayd service is using the Sprint network which is become vastly popular with prepaid of late. More information is on our Prepayd reviews page.
