Press and hold the # key to put the phone in vibrate mode. If you want more choices you will need to go to Settings, User Profiles. Choose General and press the button for options. Choose Customize and Alert Type. The four choices are Ring only, Vibrate only, Vibrate and ring, or Vibrate then ring. I have found a Fixed Dialing under the Security Settings. This may be Speed Dial, but I am not sure. It requires a password which I did not set and cannot seem to figure it out. It probably has something to do with me getting a free reconditioned phone. Perhaps the password was set up by the previous owner?

I have had 4 different straight talk phones in my home this is the only one that didn't work.I spoke to two different people we done the same thing over and over and over still doesn't work!!! It said it would take up to 1hr then the Rep.said 24 hrs after I was on the phone with them for 70 minutes. Very disappointed in straight talk. And Motorola! !!

Straight Talk uses Verizon network. It is a partnership between Tracphone and Verizon

I have the Samsung T528G and it is horrible I sadly just got online and got the phone you are talking about in the message It was free and I needed a new monthly card anyways so it shouldn't be a complete waste of money but still I know regret buying the Moto phone but anything is better than the samsung. The samsung phone stopped working about a month after i got it I received a new sims card I have restored it ect but it still does not allow me to open my text messaging or my contacts so if you want to upgrade a phone DO NOT GO WITH THE SAMSUNG T528G!!! I had the LG 290C for 2 years and it was AMAZING!!!! I never had a problem with it only reason I do not have it now is because I dropped it and it broke but everything worked on it the whole time I had it It is not the greatest looking phone in the world and does not have apps and stuff but it does have mobile web camera shortcut keys ect I strongly recommend straight talk users to go with this phone every other straight talk phone I have had is just plain horrible!!

So far I also like this phone. 'Motorola phone tools' does not recognize this model. What software do you use for connection.

Hi, I've owned and loved the motorola w418g for almost a year now. It's a flip with impressive extras. Yes it can be very easily connected to any computer's USB port for file transfer, or to access pictures, videos, etc you've taken on the phone, and saved to it's memory card. It cannot be used as a modem or anything for your laptop though. You need a mini usb to usb cable not included though. Good luck! This phone has awesome reception and battery life on StraightTalk's AT&T network coverage.

I live in the country, and found the radio quality quite good: I get signal in places where I couldn't before. But the keyboard is terrible: about 1 out of 5 characters comes out wrong when texting because of keyboard bounce. The supplied ringtones are all awful pieces of Muzak: nothing that sounds like a telephone (or any gadget). It's embarrassing to have my phone "ring" in public: it sounds like I've been put on hold by a company that hates its customers. And you can't assign ringtones to your contacts for "audible caller ID", which is just pathetic by today's standards. The buyer who approved this clunker for Walmart should be fired: he/she is either incompetent, or on the take from Motorola.

I've had my Motorola 418g for about six months now, and the only problem I've ever had with it is remembering to plug it in to charge. I get decent pictures that I download to my computer..not great pictures, but, it's a Motorola phone, not an Olympus camera. I have no issues with loading mp3's from my computer, and they sound fine. I don't use it for games, so I can't comment on that. And I hate Bluetooth anything, so I've never tried. It does more than I expected when I bought a cheap phone...I'm quite happy with it. Straight Talk's customer service just plain sucks, but we can't blame the phone for that. (And, knowing how y'all can be, no, I do not work for Motorola or Straight Talk.)
