Straight Talk has a new CDMA LG phone the LG501C slated to be released. It is not know why they have gone back to CDMA, one can only guess that this has something to do with the AT&T Merger with T-Mobile.

This phone looks a lot like the LG500G and will no doubt please people who want a CDMA phone that they can use on Straight Talk. The QWERTY keyboard is a great too

bull§#!+ t-mobile is on GSM not CDMA this is a verizon phone... STOP MISSLEADING PEOPLE LIKE YOU FRONT PAGE DOES...

Comment:

Maybe you should read the article again.

Comment:

Yes, CDMA is Verizon, not AT&T or T-Mobile. No, Gabe, the article is not misleading, you misread it. Jeez. I bought an LG501C 45 days ago, very happy with it so far.

Comment:

The "C" after the style number stands for CDMA and works off Verizon towers. Phones with "GSM" work off ATT towers. The only differences witht a CDMA phone and GSM phone, is with the CDMA, you cannot make calls outside of the USA because it is not global.
