Straight talk cell phone reviews LG290C

The new  LG290C from Straight talk

When Straight Talk brought out this great little LG290C slider phone, many people got excited. This style and design of phone, is so easy to use. The screen is nice, clean and easy to read. The keypad is large an easy to use. This might be a great phone to get for a grandparent who has a struggle with the small buttons that are on phones of a similar price. This phone on occasion has been made available to purchase as a restored phone which makes it even cheap to get.

I like straight talk phones and my mom and my dad have one but I dont have one.

I have had this phone for a year and four months now. It's never caused me trouble, even when I've accidentally sat on it and dropped it numerous times, even on the road. It may be "basic", but it's reliable.

I purchased a LG 290c its a great phone, But the person who had it before me his cell number is still on my voicemail and I can't removed it. I purchased a reconditioned cell,I need help remove this man number.

my phone is not workin when people call me i cant here my scared want out i cant see knowbody callin me whats she i do

I've had this phone for two years now and it has been a fantastic phone. Never a problem and I have dropped it several times to where the battery popped out and such. It works on Verizon network and I have never had a dropped call on it and coverage has been outstanding. The only feature I don't like on this phone is the internet which operates about like the old dial-up service of the internet but I at the time I got this phone it was for phone usage and texting as 3G phone touch phones were not that popular yet. But if you want a good phone for cell service, texting, and cheap service price, this is your phone! No small buttons to mess with so finger size is not that important in using this phone. I have been very happy with mine and would recommend this phone to anyone. My sister bought my mother some Nokia flip phone that sucks so bad compared to my LG as the Nokia has small buttons, complicated menus ,etc. I am going to get rid of this piece of junk for my Mom and get her one of the LG's as all she does is make phone calls but she has trouble using this Nokia. This is LG is a great phone and my only real complaint is there is not a card or something so I can take my stored phone numbers with me to another one and that I do not like. But I still recommend this phone to anyone. Jim K. Texarkana, Texas
