Straight Talk LG511C review

The new LG511C from Straight talk

The LG511C came out a few days ago on the Straight Talk website, this CDMA phone looks good. The phone features the proprietary LG OS much like that of the LG800G that came out earlier on Tracfone this year. So if you liked that phone then this one will be great too. The addition of a full QWERTY keyboard will no doubt be welcome. At $199 we find it hard to believe that it will sell like hot cakes. This phone is not 3G.

Got from straight talk, about two weeks ago. thought I was upgrading from my Samsung t528g and going from att to Verizon. Worst thing I ever did as far as phones is concerned. This phone drops call regularly and I have never gotten a full signal. The past few days have been the worst, no signal to call out no matter where I am at least 75% of the time. And now even getting out a text is iffy. Don't be so quick to get this phone. Check it and your area carefully before you do anything. This has been my experience with this phone.

best phone ive had

for the price i could have gotten an android phone but i like the slide out qwerty keyboard. im so busy at work and home i dont have the time for apps but the touchscreen makes it quick and easy to call or text somebody. facebook app is preloaded in the browser so that's nice. it has a great camera and video recorder. i do have a spreadsheet app that is awsome for work (it's called microcalc if anybody is interested, very simple but works). im a class 1 water treatment operator and i need something other than paper to put down my data while im out in the system. this phone is perfect for a busy person on the run it's fast, durable, and if you have a few minutes entertaining.

I have problems with this phone locking up with me. I have to take the battery out at least 4 times a week b/c of this problem. The price you pay for this phone you should be able to watch youtube and you can't. The cheapter phones has that. If we pay for the $45.00 plan we should be able to done anything with that plan b/c of it being unlimited.

Lg 511C

I own this phone and it has the touch screen for dialing. The only dislike is that I can't hardly find any free apps that work on it.
