Straight Talk ZTE Z250G 4G hotspot

Submitted by Dave Won on

Straight Talk fans are in for a treat, another new wireless Hotspot is heading to stores soon, this one is the ZTE Z250G 4G hotspot that will likely running on T-Mobile due to the fact it is displaying 4G (not real 4G) and has only GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA/HSPA/HSPA+ (no LTE) I for one will probably will go out and get one of these babies when they come out because I need a cheap hotspot.

This portable hotspot is pretty small, roughly the length of an iPhone. You can use the hotspot for up to 3 hours before having to charge the Lithium-ion Battery. The ZTE Z250G is easily charge with the supplied wall charge or charge in your computer USB port. The charging port on the Hotspot is micro USB. Three power modes will make it easy to lower or raise range of the Wifi signal, also allowing you to save power when needed.

Using the web interface of the ZTE Z250G is easy, and you can even enable a built in firewall and port forwarding.

This is a good move on Straight Talk’s part.
