Straight Talk Net10 LG Optimus 2X LG L95G

For most people this phone to get outright at est. $249 might be hard to afford, but if you can muster the cash, this phone sure is with every penny. I really don’t think anyone could have guessed that this phone would be coming out on Straight Talk & Net10 on the $45 unlimited plan. This phone is big, solid and powerful. I mean you can't expect anything more really for the price. Next thing Samsung Galaxy S II will be on Straight Talk.
Anyway, the phone is really nice… exactly the same as the G2X that came out on T-Mobile last year, and nothing has been skipped. It has the same FCC ID. We already knew this but just to confirm the phone is using T-Mobile’s network... Which officially means Straight Talk has used every major network.
The 8 MegaPixel camera on this phone is good during the day, but night shots with the LED flash are not good.

Is that a front facing camera I see in the picture?

Comment:

Yes, that is a front facing camera.

Comment:

how much is this phone? and where can i buy it?

Comment:

The 2X is not available yet, but look for it to be in the $250 to $300 range. a 4G dual core Android on Straight Talk won't be cheap.

Comment:

Which carrier will it be using?

Comment:

when will the 2x lg be available

Comment:

Since it is a 4G phone, and T-Mobile has the bigger 4G network (for GSM carriers), it will probably be on their networ, but will likely roam on AT&T for talk and text.

Comment:

No word as of now. There are also rumors of new plans, which would also include one for the 2X. I highly doubt that they would allow the $45 all you can use plan for the 2X.

I bet ya its gona be on at&t considering how ST already has power P sim cards for at&t. That and being how at&t partly owns american movile owners of ST at&t isn't gona loose much with a 45 unlimited. Be nice if they did a tethering plan for 60 or somethin of that nature. Don't look for a verizon based smartphone on ST for a long time to come. Verizon already wants over 100§ a month for unlimited on there own prepaid network. The 50 plan is for basic phones only....
