Samsung S390G

Samsung S390G from Tracfone not a bad looking little phone... reminds us of the LG900G more than anything. Still I think this will make many a Tracfone fan very happy.

A limited number of the S390G have appeared on Ebay for $45. Last I knew the seller only had 8 remaining.

HSN is supposed to be having a deal on the phone this Saturday, similar to some of their offers in the past.

They do indeed have a special. The phone is 99.95, including 1500 minutes good for one year, triple minutes for life, car charger, choice of case colors, free shipping and flex pay (split the payments over 4 months with any credit/debit card) I think it's a pretty sweet deal, considering all you get. It's the "Today's Special" for 6-30. Offer may not be the same after 6-30. Usually the prices go up about 20 bucks after the special is over, so jump now if you are interested.

It is now live on HSN: http://www.hsn.com/electronics/samsung-wi-fi-2mp-camera-smartphone-with-1500-minutes_pf-200279_xp.aspx

Just received mine from HSN. Seems to be DOA. Gee, thanks HSN & Tracfone & Samsung....for the extra work of packing and sending it back and waiting another week for it. The last similar deal was a gift and it took more than the 24 hours to get it up and usable.

I purchased the s390g at hsn, received it in less than one week, got my 1500 minutes, and have used it for a few days. I am a happy camper. It took me 5 - 8 minutes to get the phone on -- only because of my typos. I did not transfer from an old number and did everything online, 1500 minutes received within 12 hours after calling and confirming the new number. I now have a smartphone, no more phone costs for at least 6 - 8 months and free internet via the wi-fi, along with some nice music. no complaint. I just wanted a phone, nothing else.

Ebay has this phone right now for 109.99, free ship, 1200 min. and 1 yr. service. # 130723028058. Hope this helps Dee

I picked this phone up for my wife for Net10 and she likes it. The Wi-Fi feature alone was worth the purchase. After I tinkered around with it for a while, I ended up buying one on eBay for $40 for Tracfone. One problem with this phone is if you send a lot of MMS messages or use the Internet over the cell signal, you get charged a lot more minutes than you typically would with a standard phone. For example, I sent a MMS message and was charged over 8 minutes. And went on the Internet and visited 2 sites, less than 3 minutes of time spent, and was charges 15 minutes. A lot of users have made complaints to Tracfone and they are apparently working on this issue.
