Don't recommmend this phone!

Comment:

I've had this phone for 10 or 11 months & I liked it at 1st.This was my 1st touch screen. It has major issues! Not worth the $179 that I payed. The 3g blinks in & out.I have no internet reception 25% of the time.It will post what I start writting before I finish.Youcan only buy unlimited cards.Letters stick it will double letters.I'm constantly editing. One day it was moving back & Iforth by itself & I couldn't even shut it down for a half an hour.

Re maps

Comment:

Just get the advance app killer and use it every day. That will end the maps app from running along with any other apps you may have running in the background. Hope this was helpful.. Should also help battery life as well. Good luck

Re battery

Comment:

Never charge your cell over night. only just before bed or when u wake up. Then when it's fully charged unplug it right away. I used to be a Verizon customer and that's what they told me in the store. Then when your battery is at 30 percent start charging it. Hope this was helpful.. Maybe try a battery app saver too. That helps my cell I have the optimus q and have no problems with the phone, but I'm going to the zip, just because it runs off Verizon. I love the slider keyboard thing..too. Good luck hope this was helpful.

LG Optimus Zip

Comment:

Help....Just bought the LG Optimus Zip last weekend. I have to charge it every night. This doesn't seem right. I'm not opening apps. This is my first smartphone so I'm wondering if something is going on that I'm unaware of to cause the battery to drain every day?
