Flappy Bird Android Download

Submitted by Dave Won on Tue, 02/11/2014

Flappy Bird the popular Android and iOS game created by Dong Nguyen was recently removed from Google play and the Apple store because the developer was sick of people saying that the game is addictive and too simple… to add to the problems people have noted that the game seems to borrow artistic direction from Nintendo’s Mario games. Whatever the case, here are the download links to the game for Android devices. People are selling the apk files on Ebay for crazy prices, also selling phones preloaded with the software for crazy prices.

The NewerTech Voyager S3 is a professional Hard Drive cradle connects using USB 3.0 technology. This cradle is sleek and sexy and looks great on your office or technician desk .For backing up SATA drives this is a great plug and play way of quickly and safely accessing data. I worked as a computer tech for many years and would love to have had a device like this for data recovery and backups.

Are We Becoming Zombies?

Submitted by Dave Won. on Tue, 12/04/2012

I know I’m not the only person that is extremely concerned about the state of the human race and how we are interacting with people using technology. We know we are becoming increasingly dependent on electronics of the everyday tasks like talking to people, ordering food, shopping and even job interviews! But where does it stop?

Struggles with Bing

Submitted by Dave Won. on Thu, 11/08/2012

Microsoft’s bizarre treatment of Wontek over the last few months has been disappointing to say the least. Microsoft stopped our advertising on Bing driving traffic to our reviews and news. We are told we have a high density of ads above the fold of the site, that being (1) advert to be exact.

To boot we get phone calls from Bing’s call center every day asking if we have removed advertising from our site. A supervisor named David told us that we should make two sites! That being 1 site for Google and 1 site for Bing, which is a totally absurd notion.

Anonymity: The Privacy Paradox

Submitted by Nick F. on Sun, 10/28/2012

We always hear about the importance of privacy online, and protecting oneself from things like identity theft. That’s all good and well, but what if I told you that there was an inevitable breeding ground for a wide range of criminal activity, including (but not limited to) hackers, human traffickers, drug deals, weapons sales, underground fights, assassins for hire, and disturbingly enough, child pornography. What if I told you all of these transactions took place using a digital decentralized currency known as bit coin? Sounds like some sort of dystopian sci fi novel eh?

AVG Anti-virus still strong for well over a decade

Submitted by Dave Won on Wed, 10/24/2012

I have been an avid user of AVG’s range of anti-virus products for a long time and I have got to say from a personal computer and now mobile computing point of view I have been very impressed with how my devices have been protected for a decade and counting.
I remember back in the early days AVG was simply called Free Anti-virus by AVG may be around 1999… and since those days the software has matured into an amazing commercial product that I have been recommended to all my friends and the pro version to companies I have worked with.

Tracfone LG840G Review (video review)

Submitted by Dave Won. on Sat, 10/13/2012
The LG840G for Tracfone, is defiantly their best so far, and is the first phone to feature 3G and WiFi. The phone has a strong design and feels really good quality. The price is what you would expect for a top of the line Tracfone device, and will make the current top phone the LG800G seem like junk. A few things that are maybe are not obvious to some people, the phone is not an Android, and will not play Youtube or any other streaming media. Even if you did have this ability it would waist all your minutes in no time. The phone appears to be operating on the T-Mobile network, which is typical of many GSM (sim card) phones. The 3G will make the Tracfone service noticeably faster when using email or the browser. The social networking software application that is installed on the phone is called SNS it is an all-in-one for connecting to Twitter, Facebook and myspace. The screen on the phone isn’t a high resolution, you can see the pixels but for a Tracfone, it is better than other phones previously.
