Nokia is well known for quality workmanship and support when it comes to cell phones but somehow during the SmartPhone boom around 2008 the Nokia phones were left at the shop. Ultimately because SmartPhones had become popular seemingly overnight with the likes of Apple and Android (on various hardware).  Instead of going with the trend Nokia kept doing what Nokia does, making quality Nokia phones. This was good and bad, but ultimately it was bad because Nokia persevered with making phones that were an old concept.

The Nokia 5510 was at the time one of the best 2G mobile phones on the market introduced in 2001, it was one of the first phones to have a MP3 player built in. It’s unque QWERTY keyboard was the oth thing that separated it from the rest of the pack. Its small 84 x 48 monochrome display was painful to use and shared many features and parts from the Nokia 3300.

The great Nokia 5110 introduced in 1998, this phone was the best phone you could get for many years to come. In its heyday this phone was the phone to get, it may look a little bulky compared to today’s phones on offer, but this was an exceptional phone and had great battery life

Nokia and Microsoft have announced a partnership, only days after an internal memo was leaked revealing a weak venerable Nokia at the brink of collapse. So what does this mean? Well it means at some point we will see Windows on our Nokia phones and devices, spelling an end to the long lived Symbian OS.

This new Nokia N8 Smart phone has got to be the best phone we have ever used to date, Nokia's touch screen phones are a real treat to use, and with a price as high as the enjoyment factor. It seems that Nokia has coped a lot of crap over the years.
