 Tracfone Motorola EX124G Review

Finally the anticipated Tracfone Motorola EX124G has landed at Tracfone. The main talking point about this model is the sensor touch screen that works best with the included stylus. As you might be able to tell from the unboxing video this phone is somewhat hard to use as a "touch screen" using your hands. As said with the Ne10 version, if you like a stylus you're in luck! otherwise I guess this phone may not be for you.

Priced at $80 at, it should be in stores soon.

Applications: The phone has Java installed and your able to purchase Java games and apps using the data connection. I did not see any way to install apps using USB, or the SD card however if we find a way we will let you know.

There are no apps installed by default, but there are a few proprietary built in apps like calculator, stopwatch and others as expected.

The phone feels light in the hand but appears to be a good quality build, very similar to the LG800G

Overall the phone is a 4 out of 10, we wonder how long it will stay at this price, it is going to have to come down.

EX124G: A very good looking phone..

  $80 @

I try bluetooth exchange and it works but not on play back for MPEG4 or AAC music files, or em I doing something wrong for it not to work?

I guess I had to exchange the files with out the lock displayed in the file that was chosen.

Interesting Diego, thank for letting us know you found a solution.

'Your' conveys ownership. 'You're' is a contraction of the two words 'you' and 'are'. Is English your second language?

It was written on the fly, thank you for pointing this out.

Is this phone good for teenagers? Like texting and taking pictures? Also when you are taking a video can u pause it the continue recording the video?

has anyone had any problems with the calendar....the add an event disappears after so many entries, which is crazy as this only takes me to the beginning of Oct. I've reset t factory settings once and that worked to bring back the add an event button, but did the same thing again.....

Where can I get the 72 page manual for the EX124G? I called Motorola and the URL they gave me was Wontek's review page. Other URLs I've found on line for the manual are dead links.

Here is a link for a 70 page manual, I assume it's the same one you mean tinypaws.

Whoops sorry, if you look on the links on the left side of the page the last one is user guide-that's it, it's not just the 2 page one tracfone gives.
