Finally the anticipated Tracfone Motorola EX124G has landed at Tracfone. The main talking point about this model is the sensor touch screen that works best with the included stylus. As you might be able to tell from the unboxing video this phone is somewhat hard to use as a "touch screen" using your hands. As said with the Ne10 version, if you like a stylus you're in luck! otherwise I guess this phone may not be for you.
Priced at $80 at Tracfone.com, it should be in stores soon.
Applications: The phone has Java installed and your able to purchase Java games and apps using the data connection. I did not see any way to install apps using USB, or the SD card however if we find a way we will let you know.
There are no apps installed by default, but there are a few proprietary built in apps like calculator, stopwatch and others as expected.
The phone feels light in the hand but appears to be a good quality build, very similar to the LG800G.
Overall the phone is a 4 out of 10, we wonder how long it will stay at this price, it is going to have to come down.

Cannot get ex124g paired to Honda Odyssey 2011 where works to any degree. Recognizes phone but won't transfer to auto when called and other problems. Has anyone successfuly paired this to an auto bluetooth syste. In working with Honda and Tracfone they say this is not supported or at least not tested. Any thoughts??

Can someone explain to me what exactly this does? I did go in and calibrate it and now I use the "send" and "end" buttons to go between screens. It also seems easier to write a text with it. I was just curious as to what it does. Did I answer my own questions?!!

Can anyone help me with trying to change my Txt message alert from "Once" to "Repetition"? I know it's probably very simple but this is the first phone I have ever had that I can't figure out how to do this. Thnx

the phone goes into sleep mode after 30 seconds or so. to turn it back on, just press the side button. to turn it all the way off, you have to hold the side button for several seconds until the trafone or motorola (cant remember which one) comes up. it will ring when in the sleep mode. test it with a home phone.

Turn the phone OFF. GO outside with the phone in hand. Make
sure that the sky above you is clear so that there is easy access to
satellite signals. Turn the phone back on as you stand there.
When I went through the same frustration my phone reset to the correct time. ( These were the directions I followed by Tracfone)63
