Android on AT&T

Comment:

MSU, Straight Talk already has an Android phone using At&t. In a training session 3 weeks ago we were told that the only Android phones on Straight Talk were using Sprint. Then last week when I got to the store the pegs were loaded with the New ZTE Merit Android GSM using At&t.

Answer Straight talk why don't ya

Comment:

Hey Tom I work in a Walmart Electronics dept. in Minnesota and I just want to let you, Verizon is blocking the Trac phone corp. owners of the straight talk brand from using the Verizon network with the android platform. If you think about it why would Verizon let a company that charges only $45 for unlimited talk, text and web the use of its 3G network. They would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did (they wouldn't be able to compete). And I am certain ATT has the same feelings on this issue. So don't expect to ever see a straight talk android phones running Verizon or ATT 3G service.

Love this phone!!

Comment:

I've had this phone for 3 months and I love it! Great coverage everywhere I travel, the processor is strong and FAST! Battery life is actually really good, but it gets better with a battery saving app from the Play Store. Best of all, with the $45 plan, everything is unlimited! :-D
