Windows 7 in my eyes

So I can't be the only one here who was completely disappointed with windows vista when it first came out, or even now. Windows Vista was rushed and under developed, it should not have been released when it was. Then when Windows 7 was announced I told myself just to stick with windows XP and leave the new operating systems (OS) alone, but then I got invited to beta test windows 7, I figured why not  it was free. I fell in love with it, even in the beta stages I liked it more than windows Vista. In my opinion windows Vista was the beta for Windows 7 beta.

Windows 7 has changed my out look Microsoft as a whole. It made it so that I could do everything that I could do on my XP machine with compatibility mode. There are so many options for customization, like apps on the desktop, making it look like the older versions of Windows. The visual effects, like dragging a window to the top to make it full screen, or to the left (or right) side of the screen to make it take up half the screen. All of those are usual features that I use on a daily basis.

What is Windows 7 missing? Well someone to make me breakfast? Just kidding, with all the visual effects it makes it some what of a power hungry operating system, so my older computer had to be upgraded to be able to handle everything without being noticeably slower. Actually, the computer was so old I went out and built myself a brand new gaming rig for it.

As with any windows machine it is prone to viruses, that is if you are not careful. The only time that I've ever had any real viruses on any of my computers was when I was younger and I did not know how to be safe while browsing the internet, and when I allowed other people to use my computer (mostly my little sisters). If you have a virus scanner and you do nothing other than normal web browsing you will be fine. If you plan on downloading illegal programs then you better get some extra protection because I've been told that is where most of the issues start for people.

One thing that's a little off topic that I feel needs to be put into this article is the fact that so many people believe that Apple is virus free, but that is not true at all I will go into more detail on that subject in my upcoming Apple vs Windows OS. Until then, leave your comments and let me know what I should write about next.
