On the horizon another 3 more Android phones to come to Straight Talk all of these phones that could be on the shelves before July are going to be hard to beat. I predict that these phones will be around the $100 mark and they could be even less.

So if you’re an Android fan like many are this is going to be good news. Straight Talk in the 3 years they have been around has brought out a lot of phones, maybe more than any other provider to date.

Re: Samsung Galaxy Proclaim Postby Jessica_ST » Sat May 05, 2012 9:56 am Good day, bseverson. My name is Jessica_ST and I'll be addressing your concern. Yes, the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim will be available in two weeks and this will be powered by Verizon. All data features on the phone will work within your local zip code and it will also work outside your local zip code but with Wifi. You cannot use your data features on the phone without a Wifi outside local zip code. We hope this helps. Thank you. Jessica_ST Posts: 40 Joined: Fri Sep 03, 2010 9:51 am

The truth about US 4G.. it's fake.

If you’re a person that likes a fast internet connection on your phone, then you’re not going to find it here in the states.  AT&T and Verizon tell everyone how fast their 4G speeds are, but they are nothing but lies. Firstly there is no real 4G in the US yet, the companies that have been saying that they have this technology are twisting their words and false advertising. If you want to see what other countries such as Australia have look at this speed test on a REAL 4G LTE network.

Speed Test on Telstra 4G LTE

Test done with the new Telstra 4G LTE USB Modem (ZTE MF821)

Here is another Telstra 4G LTE test from a small town in Tasmania:

Telstra 4G LTE test

Next time you go to the phone stores rip into them and ask them how 5Mb/s is 4G??? Lies and more lies. Ask them how they can resell 3G as 4G… The most advanced country in the world has the slowest networks in the world.

Straight Talk 3G slower?

If you have noticed that your Straight Talk 3G (AT&T) connection on any of the Nokia phones has slowed over the last few days, then you’re not alone. When a request for a URL or download is made... There is an almost 10-second delay in response before the data comes down the airwaves; other people have been reporting intermittent slower speeds on HowardForum.com
Whether this is due to overload of traffic on the AT&T MVNO servers, or AT&T trying to crack down on the overuse of their MVNO network, as has been done with native AT&T unlimited plans it’s anyone’s guess.

Straight Talk offers SIM cards

You no longer need to purchase one of Straight Talks phones in order to enjoy the benefits of the $45 unlimited plans. This is good news for people with unlocked GSM phones who want unlimited 3G, Talk & Text.  This has got to be the best thing to happen since the day Straight Talk was first announced. The sim card kit is $14.99 at the Straight Talk sim card site: http://www.straighttalksim.com/

Straight Talk offers sim cards
The cards are available in both microsim and regular sim cards size so you can even hook your iPad up to the 3G service. So getting your current model of phone on T-Mobile or AT&T might just be worth it.

Also Net10 has gone the same direction offering Sim Cards aswell on their $50 unlimited plan http://www.net10sim.com/ thanks Turkers!

Apple and the human cost.

iBoard joke

If you’re an iPhone or iPad owner, then you have probably had to put the mental picture of how your phone was manufactured far away in the back of your mind, and no one would blame you.  Given the disgusting working conditions endured by under paid staff working at Foxconn and Apple’s other miserable factories in China. I realize that there are many other companies that make stuff for US Corporations in China, but no one more than Apple tries to portray this squeaky-clean image of having the perfect product, all the while ignoring how this success came about.

What is a phone worth? Is the price of getting the latest phone really worth the bloodshed of dozens of people who have to commit suicide or died from the harsh, concentration camp style work environment. These poor people that get no credit from Apple jump to their death to escape the prison like conditions, often standing for 24 hours on the assembly line.

Apple was founded on good principals to make computers easy to use for people lacking the ability to adapt to changing technology trends; this was re affirmed when the iPhone 4s came out and people were so excited about this new phone that wasn’t as powerful as the Samsung Galaxy S II that had been on the market for some time.

Users of apple products really don’t care what they are buying, nor do they care how powerful the product is… as long as they get the product that fits with their douche all important sorry ass images.

AT&T Huawei U2800A Review

The AT&T U2800A is a base model cell phone that you can get for around the $20 mark. This phone is suited to someone who wants a really basic phone for making phone calls or texting. For someone who is on vacation, and they want a phone that they don’t really care about so much, or will have lesser chance of being stolen then this phone is the way to go. The AT&T U2800A is made by Huawei and is one of the cheapest phones that you can get on the AT& GoPhone prepaid network. This phone is 3G, but it will be a hard to take advantage of the 3G speeds given the phone only has a basic WAP browser that was great on cell phones two years ago. This phone has not got a Camera or a memory card slot. All in all, it is a $20 cell phone.AT&T huawei U2800A Review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Review

This is a pretty cool tablet that pretty much is everything you are looking for in a tablet for around the $400 mark and does everything the iPad does and more. So it is hard to know where to start with this device it's just such a cool device to have, and it really does look like an iPad, there is no denying that.
It is just like a laptop but with great battery life, I know for some people it is hard to get away from using a mouse and keyboard and because of this you can buy keyboard docks for this tablet, and if you don’t want to fork out $70 for one of these you can always use a generic Bluetooth keyboard or mouse because there are still some websites that are a little hard to use on a tablet due to the fact that they are not designed for it. In fact, we have been working to make Wontek.com work a bit better on tablet devices seeing they are quickly taking over as devices for Internet usage.
I don’t really want to go on about the specs too much as I know people really don’t give a crap, they want to know if it is usable or not, and whether it is a quality product or not, and this is a classy product that does all that.
It really doesn’t matter who you are when you use this thing, there are apps and other things that you will just love using on this tablet. The screen is really responsive, and has amazing battery life, something like a smart phone, but even with a heavy use you probably can get away with only charging the Galaxy 10.1 once every few days. Go out and have a look at a demo model at your local electronic store you will be pressed to find a reason not to get one for yourself... well done Samsung!
