Problem
On your BlackBerry device, when you press the
Mute
button, access an application, or perform a hard reset, the following error message appears:
523 app. error. Reset.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:
- Upgrade to the latest version of BlackBerry Desktop Software.
- Remove any recently installed applications on your BlackBerry device, and then load the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software on to your BlackBerry device.
If you still have issues with your blackberry with the App error 523, take it to a Blackberry dealer.
