Idk I Was Messing around With My Phone And Now I can't Read Texts Or Recieve Or Send Calls.. What Do I do?

You most likely activated a code entry or restricted the incoming outgoing and text

If you restricted it you can not make any calls receive and cannot even go into your incoming outgoing call list or message box

u hit the code entry mode..i have donethat before.. callthe company and they will fix it!!

The problem is with Straight Talk. The Samsung phone if fine. ST will steal any remaining days you have on your plan if you pay before it is due.
In other words, if you pay for a month, then after a week pay for another month, you will only have one month.
The Terms Of Service Contradicts itself on this point. In one place it says your "service end date" will be extended; in another it says you will lose the remaining days, which is what happens.

Ok I have been stressing about my straight talk phone, the samsung r451c. I just got the phone thursday march25th and I already have a problem, that isnt good. I activated it with no problem and I have used it but all of a sudden my service was disabled while I was browsing my phone trying to see how to work it. Now I can make calls or recieve them and text messaging is not going thru either. I dont want to have to pay for another 45 dollar card. I have been trying to find a site or something that can help me with my problem and I still don't know what to do. I also noticed that the phone didnt come with a folder for games as well. I read that I can download them but just want to know how to do so, and as for ringtones I wanted to know If I can download ringback tones as well. please help

well i have a straight talk cell phone and i know my prepaid card doesn't end for another week cause it has a 30 day time period. for some reason when ever i try to make a call or send a text message it pops up saying "prepaid service disabled". can anyone please help me find out why it dos this and how can i get it to work normally again?

Is it possible you used your minutes? on the $30 dollar plan?

I would try taking it back to WalMart, Tell them that you really upset that the quality didn't meet your expectations, they might give you a new one.

As far as getting it repaired... it might be cheaper to get a new phone as they are $99.

WHY EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND MY PHONE TELLS ME,PREPAID SERVICE DISABLED.THEN I HAVE TO GO TO CODE ENTRY MODE AND WAIT ON HOLD FOR 1 HOUR FOR THEM TO GIVE ME ONE CODE.IT HAS TO BE A WAY TO BLOCK THAT.IT IS MAKING ME SO UPSET,JUST HAVING TO STAY ON HOLD THAT LONG.DO YALL NEED HELP THERE.THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

It's ironic, the name Straight Talk. It must be an inside joke. Or maybe it was opposite day on the day they named the brand.

But my experience is that ST customer service won't hang up on you. I argued with them for about 50 minutes. I had to hang up myself.

Yes, I realize I'm not directly responding to your question. I'm stuck with ST because it's cheap compared with the local alternative. But if Cricket comes to Lawrence, Kansas, I'll switch.

i wouldn't know if they talk to you when they pick up i've been on hold with them for 2 hrs and then disconnected @ 9 pm

Right and my phone is yet to be used! I did what I was to do, $45 dollar card , it will not work I do not even have a number! WHAT? is up?

I've had this phone for 3 weeks and I love it. I have been able to connect to the internet and check email & web pages with no problems.I send & receive text / pic text. I have uploaded pictures from my phone to facebook. I send & receive emails to the home computer. The phone works great & the service is great.

straight talk phones,i have been looking for a contract free service but at this time i think i have changed my mind. there are too many problems with the phones i guess i will stay with my cell phone and plan services.

I have never had any problems and I got my phone and service when it first came out. I really hate to hear all the problems that people are having.

i finally activated it brought a card but cant get my mins activated no live customer service and recording says the pin on the card wasnt right my phone # says 00000219 cant change it either called the # on card same message emailed them called them customer service sucks waisted my whole entire day stressed to the max or yea walmart cant help either!!!!!!!!!any suggest

Instead call Tracphone at 800-867-7183. I got this number off another website with complaints about straight talk. They will transfer you to the correct person and you will be helped right away ( or at least within a few min.). Good luck

I have purchased a Samsung R451C Straight Talk package (along with the $45.00 card). The cell phone is working fine. Is there anyway to download (or upload, whatever) blocks of phone numbers of friends, work associates, etc.?

How would I go about getting the GPS feature activated?

Any other "good features" and advice???

I really want this phone considering I have the T301g through tracfone and I hate it. Should I get this I have heard mixed reviews on it and it looks like a good phone. But then I went to this website and it sounded like so many people were having troubles with it so I am not sure if I really want it anymore. Can anyone tell me if this is actally a good phone? Because I really want it and it is better Han only being able to send 3 texts per mintue. I would get it with the $30 card considering I pay for my own bill and I am younger than 18. So is it a good phone??

This is my second month with Straight Talk and other than there is a limited amount of info on "how tos", I can find no fault. I have added airtime online with no problems. For the money, I cannot think of a better plan. I wish all an easy tranisition, and hope others find their solution.

Not sure, the coverage is everywhere pretty much (Verizon), maybe try some different zips... then get the phone sent to your home address & zip.

I'm 16 years old, & I have a boyfriend that I've been with for a year. My mom doesn't want me talking to him, and she doesn't know I still see him. I do delete them. & because, he told her '' No matter what you think, she's the only girl for me, & I'm not leaving her because of you '' & she thinks thats ''disrespecting'' her. I think its pretty stupid.

I have the slide to the side phone & I truely love I left Sprint to try out the straight talk & I'm glad I did it picks up real good. & I love the featurers on the phone. & it is so much cheaper.Thank you for having the phone I wanted for over a 100.00 cheaper.

I just bought this samsung phone with Straight Talk. It is the slider like LG Rumor or Scoop. They advertise unlimited internet usuage on the 45 dollar card but they don't tell you all the phones have Java Script disabled. So really it becomes a hidden cap on your internet usuage. Without Java you can't accces lots of sites or stream shows, or download movies. No you tube either. Dont buy this phone. Im doing buyer remorse.

Hi i'm inquiring about the straight talk phones! I hsve two that i'm looking into and want to know which one would be good! I was thinking about the Samsung phone with keyboard R451C or the Samsung R355C! Which of the two is best to get. Also I have been seeing mixed feelings about this phone. I wonder is it people who aren't phone savy who are making complaints. I really like the price and want to go with them, but not if i'm gonna be stressed out! Thanks

Tete not sure if those site you have used are free... make sure when you choose the carrier it is Verizon. As Straight talk is on Verizon's network.

How do i put full songs onto the music player on my phone?? I cant figure it out

I have the Samsung R451C and it is defective. The screen will go snowy, a pretty colorful snowy, or completely white and no matter if you try to charge the phone or restart the phone the visuals do not work. I called STRAIGHT TALK and their customer service told me in order to replace the phone I would have to be without a phone for about 2 weeks while they figured out the problem. Straight Talk can not replace a defective phone in under 10-15 days, unbelievable, and the customer service rep didn't even bother to look up my account he was just kept repeating the standard responses. I asked him when was the last time he was without a phone for 10-15 days....he stumbled and then changed the direction of the conversation. I have had service less then 3 months and the problem has been getting progressively worse since the first few weeks when I thought it was just a simple glitch. I like the phone and the service but STRAIGHT TALK needs to get into THIS century with their customer servi...

To put music on it you mite have to make a folder matching the same name as the folder name on your phone.. like to save images you would do my images on the sd card...

Call those people on the phone and tell them and tell them that you have unlimited everything and your phone don't work and tell them to fix it and you want it done now...

I just bought this phone and I really like it. It's easy to use, fits my hand well and has all the features I need. I purchased the $30 plan and I did not like the recording that played everytime I made a call telling me how many hours and minutes I have remaining. I called customer service and was very impressed with the short wait time, the tech knowledge, and willingness to help. I did have to ask for a supervisor but they solved the problem. I no longer hear the recording. I admit I was skeptical so I didn't port my number. I wanted to check out the service first, but, so far I'm very happy. Considering that I have been paying Verison $285 a month for service, I'm thrilled to get the same Verison Network for $30 a month (per phone.) One thing I have learned is that if you don't post a credit card to your account for automatic renewal, and your account closes, you loose your number....

I am willing to change my verizon contract to straight talk, to cut down on monthly charges, but from all of the negativity i am sceptical. Does everyone have problems with the service and the phones they are using. Can someone please write something positive about the samsung r451c, this will be the phone i am going to purchase. MAYBE
